The journey of Olea True began with a shared conviction among scientists and entrepreneurs that true luxury is rooted in nature, integrity, and science. United by a passion for health, exceptional food, and discovery, we set out to redefine what high phenolic extra virgin olive oil could represent.

After decades spent researching the pharmaceutical and medicinal properties of olive oil, particularly its phenolic compounds, our scientific partners understood one essential truth: extraordinary oil cannot be engineered. It must be grown in the right place, under the right conditions, and guided by the right hands.

That pursuit led us to a single exceptional estate in Chania, Crete.

Nestled between mineral rich soil and coastal breezes, this estate is home to generations of olive growers whose trees have matured over decades. The unique terroir of Chania, combined with early harvest practices and meticulous cold extraction within hours of picking, produces an oil of remarkable phenolic density, vibrant character, and peppery complexity.

High phenolic compounds occur naturally, but only when specific variables align: tree maturity, soil composition, microclimate, timing of harvest, and precision in extraction. These elements cannot be replicated or rushed. As a result, only a small percentage of global extra virgin olive oil reaches the levels required to qualify as truly high phenol.

By sourcing exclusively from one estate, we preserve purity, traceability, and consistency. Every bottle reflects the character of a single origin and a singular commitment to excellence.

Our mission is twofold.
